Terms of service
Prepared 17 October 2026 · Effective from Monday 19 October 2026
Terms for free checks, application packs, accounts and proposed paid plans. This is a proposed policy, not legal advice or a statement that the service is legally compliant. It must be approved and completed before it is relied on.

1. Who we are and these terms
Apply Coach is an Australian CV and job-application support service founded by Allinta Rose. In these proposed terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Allinta Rose, operating Apply Coach, ABN 25 656 421 718, of 5/56 McLay Street, Coorparoo QLD 4151, Australia. “You” means the person using or purchasing the service.
These terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund and Cancellation Policy and the product description provided before an order set out our relationship. No term excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. A separate signed agency agreement may govern agency purchases, subject to those rights.
These terms take effect from Monday 19 October 2026. They do not retrospectively change existing orders.
2. What the service provides
The free check assesses CV readability, structure and keyword relevance, with AI-assisted feedback where available. Paid application packs, when enabled, support one advertised role and may include a tailored CV, cover letter, strengths-and-gaps assessment, application-answer support and interview preparation, depending on the selected product.
Apply Coach is not an employer, recruitment agency or applicant-tracking-system operator. A readiness score is indicative, not an employer’s assessment or a certification that a CV will pass a particular system. We do not submit applications or contact employers on your behalf unless separately agreed.
We do not promise an interview, offer, salary, hiring outcome or ranking. That limitation does not excuse us from supplying the service with legally required care and skill or from a specific promise made before purchase.
3. Accounts and authorised use
Provide accurate account and contact details, use only an account you are authorised to access, and keep sign-in links and credentials private. Notify us if you suspect unauthorised access. We will take reasonable steps to help secure the account; you are not automatically responsible for losses caused by our own failure.
Use the service lawfully. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with other users, distribute malicious files, scrape private information, impersonate another person or use outputs to misrepresent credentials. Agency staff must be authorised to act for their agency and to supply another person’s information.
[OWNER REVIEW: confirm any minimum age and arrangements for young job seekers before adding an age restriction.]
4. Your information and application accuracy
Only provide information you are entitled to use. Remove unnecessary identity-document numbers, financial details, sensitive information and third-party contact details before uploading. Obtain permission before supplying a referee’s personal information or a client’s CV.
AI can omit context, introduce errors or suggest wording that overstates your experience. Check every name, date, qualification, achievement, statistic and answer before use. Do not submit a claim you cannot truthfully support. You remain responsible for deciding what to submit; our service obligations and your consumer rights remain unchanged.
Your uploads must be readable text-based documents in supported formats. Scanned image-only documents may not extract correctly. The service may ask for clearer information or a replacement file.
5. AI assistance, human review and revisions
AI-assisted packs are drafts based on the CV, job advertisement and other information you supply. A Coach Reviewed pack is AI-drafted and then reviewed by a person before final delivery; it is not represented as wholly written without AI.
The advertised Coach Reviewed service includes delivery within two business days and one reasonable revision for the same advertised role, requested within seven days of delivery. A revision adjusts the existing pack; a different role or materially new application may require a new pack, quoted before additional work.
[OWNER REVIEW: confirm reviewer qualifications, staffing, the business-day calendar, when the delivery clock starts, and how delays are communicated before offering this service.] These included revision conditions do not impose a seven-day limit on complaints or statutory remedies.
6. Prices, orders and payments
Payments are currently deferred. These paid-service clauses describe the proposed arrangement when payments are enabled; a displayed product is not evidence that checkout is available.
Prices are shown in Australian dollars. Before payment, checkout must state the total payable, applicable taxes and any unavoidable fees, the product inclusions and delivery arrangements. We will not charge an undisclosed additional amount. Confirm GST registration and tax treatment before launch.
An order is accepted when we confirm it. If we cannot supply an accepted order, we will explain the options and provide any refund required by law. We will not substitute a materially different service without agreement.
When enabled, Stripe processes payments. We retain transaction identifiers and order records, not full card numbers or card security codes. Any optional additional service requires your agreement to its price first.
7. Plans, credits and renewal
Before a subscription starts, we must disclose the recurring amount, billing interval, included credits and their permitted use, expiry rules, renewal date and how to cancel. A recurring plan renews until cancelled under the disclosed arrangement. Cancellation prevents future renewals; it does not remove remedies for a defective service or unauthorised charge.
Use the billing-management option when available or contact the confirmed support address if it is unavailable. Any pause option depends on the offered plan and payment configuration and must be confirmed before it is advertised.
[OWNER REVIEW: approve exact credit expiry/rollover, cancellation cut-off, access after cancellation and any pause rules, and check the checkout and billing settings match. No unconfirmed expiry or forfeiture rule is established by this draft.] We will not introduce new fees or reduce already purchased entitlements retrospectively.
8. Ownership and permission to process
You retain rights you already hold in your CV and other submitted material. You give us the limited permission needed to store, process and share that material with service providers and authorised reviewers to deliver the requested service, handle support and meet lawful obligations, as described in the Privacy Policy.
You may edit, download and use your delivered application materials for your own applications. We do not promise that AI-generated wording is unique or that it attracts copyright protection. Our site design, software and branding remain ours or our licensors’. This does not restrict your use of your CV or pack.
9. Consumer guarantees, refunds and liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Services must meet applicable guarantees, including due care and skill, fitness for a disclosed purpose where applicable, and supply within an agreed or otherwise reasonable time.
Available remedies depend on the failure. A major service failure can entitle you to cancel and obtain a refund for the unused portion, or keep the service and seek compensation for its reduced value. For a remediable minor failure, we generally have an opportunity to fix it within a reasonable time. You may also be entitled to compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss.
See the Refund and Cancellation Policy for the proposed handling process. A credit, revision or replacement is not compulsory where you are entitled to a different remedy. These terms do not impose a blanket liability cap, broad indemnity or exclusion of liability for our own unlawful conduct.
10. Availability, suspension and changes
Maintenance and provider outages may interrupt access. We will take reasonable steps to restore service and address accepted orders affected by an interruption. Download materials you wish to keep; this does not remove our obligations for purchased services.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to prevent misuse, protect security or comply with law. Where practicable we will give reasons and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Urgent security action may be taken without advance notice. A restriction does not automatically forfeit paid entitlements or consumer remedies.
Material changes will be notified before they apply to future purchases or renewals. If a proposed change materially disadvantages an existing subscriber, we will provide an opportunity to cancel before the change takes effect and address affected prepaid services fairly. No term changes an accepted order without agreement or lawful basis.
11. Questions, disputes and governing law
Contact hello@applycoach.com.au with your account email, order or pack reference and a description of the issue. Do not send payment-card details or unnecessary identity documents. We will investigate and explain the outcome and available remedies.
These terms are intended to be governed by Queensland and Australian law, without limiting mandatory protections that apply where you live. Nothing requires you to waive access to a regulator, tribunal or court available under applicable law, or to use paid arbitration.
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions apply to the extent lawful. A delay in exercising a right does not by itself waive that right.
